Hello there! My name is Ms. Cat, and I love books and stories!
Stories take me all over the world, and I never have to leave my room! They teach me about life and introduce me to new friends who are very different from me. Stories can make me feel happy, and sometimes sad; at times scared and at other times brave. They help me understand more about who I am in the world, and how my feelings can be the same as other people’s. Stories are friends I get to spend time with, that keep me company, that make me laugh and feel more alive. They are sparklers in my imagination, bringing a burst of shining, beautiful energy to light up my own thoughts and ideas.
